What does this tool create?

It creates a QR code containing a UPI payment URI with the UPI ID, recipient name, optional amount, optional note, and INR currency you provide.

Is this UPI QR generator free?

Yes. You can create, download, and print a QR code without an account or payment.

Does it verify a UPI ID or a payment?

No. It does not verify a VPA, recipient identity, payment status, settlement, or refunds. Check the recipient displayed by the payer’s UPI app before confirming a payment.

Can I make a code that expires or can only be used once?

No. This tool does not create expiry dates, one-time codes, or payment links. Handle the QR image carefully and regenerate it if your payment details change.

Is an amount guaranteed?

No. An amount may be included in the payment request, but the payer must review the final amount in their app. Do not treat a QR code as proof that an amount cannot be changed.

Will it work in every UPI app?

App support and display behaviour can vary. This tool does not claim compatibility with every app. Ask a payer to confirm the displayed recipient details in their UPI app.

Is my information uploaded?

No. The generator runs in your browser. The details you enter are not sent to this site, added to the URL, or used for analytics.
